Maintain Normality and Avoid Election Stress.

For election results to be valid, compliance with legislation is imperative. Moreover, tight time constraints can put unwelcome and undue stress on school staff.

Employing a CES independent Returning Officer will relieve this pressure, enabling normal workflows to be maintained.

Our Returning Officer will work closely with your designated staff to administer parent/student/staff elections and gather and tabulate results.

A CES Returning Officer will:

• Prepare a timeline for the election;
• Call for nominations by distributing the notice and nomination forms;
• Prepare newspaper advertisements and flyers for circulation
• Prepare of rolls of parents/caregivers and staff;
• Liaise with staff eligible to be on both staff and parent roles;
• Receive and check nomination forms, and candidates statements where required;
• Distribute voting papers and reply envelopes;
• Oversee of the electoral process;
• Declare and advertise the results, notify of the school and candidates;
• Complete documentation for the Ministry of Education;
• File results with the District Court.
